PRESS RELEASE

Employment Law firm wins Top Boutique Firm Accolade

Specialist employment law firm, Aitken Legal has been recognised by Australasian Lawyer as one of Australia’s Top Boutique Law Firms 2022.  Only 40 firms across Australia have been recognised for this accolade.

Australasian Lawyer evaluated nominations based on the firm’s client service delivery approach, how client needs are met, matters the lawyers work on as well as longevity in the profession.  To be in the running, 50% of a firm’s revenue was to be derived from one practice area.

This award follows a wave of recent wins and shortlistings for the firm and its team.  Aitken Legal was a finalist in the Australian Law Awards for Workplace Relations and Employment Team of the Year while Special Counsel, Angela Engel was named as a finalist in the Special Counsel of the Year award.  Senior Associate, Hamish Procter was also recently recognised as a Rising Star for 2022 by the Australasian Lawyer and Lawyer, Harry McDonald has been shortlisted for the QLS Excellence in Law Awards – Emerging Leader.

Managing Director, Lisa Aitken commented:

“We are extremely proud of this achievement, and it is testament to our great team of specialist lawyers and the high level of employment law advice we provide.  While it is an honour to receive this award, it is about the relationships with our clients that are most important to us.  These are not like your atypical lawyer/client relationship.  We pride ourselves in getting to know our clients and our clients know they can call and bounce a question off us at any time – it is fantastic to be recognised for this.”
